About Playoff Pulse
A clearer view of the season ahead, and the cricket being covered now.

What this site does
Playoff Pulse helps sports fans understand standings, remaining fixtures and possible season outcomes. Season Odds brings together title, playoff and relegation estimates across published leagues. Each league keeps its own competition rules and model notes, so a playoff probability in one sport is not presented as the same calculation in another.
The separate Live Cricket section lists matches covered by its connected source and shows the scores and details that source supplies. A fixture can be listed without a full batting card, commentary or a betting market. Missing information stays unavailable rather than being replaced with a made-up score or percentage.
Facts and forecasts have different jobs
Results, fixtures and scores come from the sources credited on each page. Forecasts are calculations made from those inputs and stated assumptions. They can change when results arrive, inputs are corrected, a competition format changes or a model is updated.
Completed seasons stay available as results and recaps. An old season is not relabelled as a live match. Source timestamps and data notes help you judge what a page can support. Read the methodology guide for the distinction between season probabilities, live scores, model win estimates and external bookmaker prices.
Independent and inspectable
This is an independent project. It is not an official service of a league, team, governing body or bookmaker. Names identify the competitions being discussed; they do not imply an endorsement or partnership.
The public source repository contains the data-processing code, models, tests and implementation notes. The aim is to make methods and limitations inspectable. A model estimate is a tool for following sport, not a guarantee about an outcome or personal betting advice.
Corrections and questions
If a score, fixture, table or explanation looks wrong, include the page address, the team or match involved and a reliable reference when reporting it. Please distinguish a wrong recorded fact from a forecast that did not happen: both matter, but they need different investigations.
